PROGRAMS - SAYBROOK PRESCHOOL WALNUT CREEK

Preschool Hours: 6:45 am to 6:15 p.m. Mon. to Fri. We only close 13 days per year. Your lovely kid can join Spanish and Chinese languages classes at no extra fee.

Daily schedule:
• Drop Off Time 6:45 a.m. - 8:30 a.m.
• School begins at 8:30 a.m.
• Snack Time 10:30 am & 3 pm

Morning classes:
• Language Arts: Rhymes, Poetry Stories
• Beginner Reading: Alphabet, Phonics Letter Games
• Mathematics: Counting Games, Math Puzzles
• Spanish class & Chinese class
Lunch: We provide hot lunch every day.
Naps: 12:45 - 2:30 p.m.

Afternoon classes: Playtime, indoors or out, depending on weather and needs of the children. Arts and crafts: Blocks - Dramatic Play, Painting, Cut and Paste etc.

Snacks are at 10:00 am and 3:00 pm each day and include fruit juices, crackers with one of the following items: peanut butter, raw vegetables, fruit slices, or cheese slices. The afternoon program includes naptime, nutrition, and circle time and supervised inside and outside play. At 5:30 p.m., the remaining children are gathered for grooming and then stories, finger play music or puppet shows.

Before 8:00 am children may have breakfast. Saybrook Preschool provides a variety of cold cereals and milk.

We ask that you help serve your own child, just to get them set up. We will clean up later.

We also have a pot of hot water and a microwave for you to make a hot breakfast.
